Dear fans of DivX ;-),

First, let me offer thanks to those of you who have used DivX ;-) and made it so popular. It has done more than I ever thought possible when I and Max Morice released it earlier this year. Also, thank you to everyone who has written me personally with compliments and encouragement. I am a video lover myself, so I like to hear from other video lovers. I and the other Mayo folks are working hard to make DivX ;-) even better.

Now, something about this section. I do not know if this will work or not, but I have some ideas for articles (or "editorials" maybe) that I want to write, and this section is where I will publish them online. But I also want to hear about what you want me to write about. That is why we call this "Ask Gej." You can ask me questions and, if enough people want to hear about it, I will write down my thoughts and put them up here.

This is not for technical support. Read the Project Mayo FAQ list and you will see our answer about that. This section is for more general issues like the future of digital video, etc.

Anyway, like I say, I do not know if this will work, but if you are interested in my thoughts on some things, let me know.
